Overview
Located on the Instituto Technologico de Monterrey campus, the library is a prominent transparent structure that channels two major campus pedestrian arteries into a lifted entryway, featuring a massive cantilever that makes the building appear as if it is floating. The 183,000 square foot building houses the universities cherished book volumes—combining two special collection libraries—and includes teaching laboratories, space for students and groups to study, reading rooms, and other amenities such as food and beverage and a bookstore.
