Boston Public Library renovation awarded

The Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library Renovation received an Honor Award for the 2021 AIA New England Design Awards. The library, which celebrated its opening in October, 2021, is an important community amentity for the residents of Nubian Square in Roxbury, MA.

Boston-based Utile Architecture and Planning worked with the Boston Public Facilities Department and the Boston Public Library to reimagine the 27,000 SF space and realign it as a central hub to the community for learning and education.

Studio NYL was proud to serve as the facade consultant on the project.
