Overview The Research and Design Center includes the renovation of the existing structure and an addition above and adjacent to the building. The two principal façade types include a staggered and sloped curtainwall system. Care was taken to use stock systems but re-envision them in a unique pattern. On the courtyard side, the glazing is intermixed with a serrated rainscreen. The panels unfold to create texture and shading using composite panels and a modular rail system.

Our Role Studio NYL served as the facade designer.
